What is BŌCHŌ傍聴
One theme. Two who talk. Everyone else listens.
ひとつのテーマに人が集い、話す人と聴く人にわかれる。
It starts with small talk. But small talk, overheard, sometimes goes somewhere you didn't expect.
はじまりは、ちいさな雑談。けれど雑談は、聴いているうちに、思いがけない深さに届くことがある。
At the center, two people talk. Around them, others quietly listen in — each from the middle of their own day.
中央で、二人が対話する。まわりの人々は、それぞれの暮らしのなかから、そっと傍聴する。
The two vermilion dots are the two in dialogue; the white dots circling them, the audience. Now and then, one drifts to another conversation.

THE IDEA傍聴とは
A stranger sits in on a conversation between two others — not to judge, not to join, only to listen.
当事者ではない誰かが、二人の対話にそっと立ち会う。口をはさむのでも、良し悪しを決めるのでもなく、ただ聴く。BŌCHŌは、その「傍聴」だけでできた場所です。

THE TWO 対話者
You talk one-to-one with someone you've just met — each in your own language. No script. Your words are carried across by live subtitles, and your silences are allowed to stay.
初対面の一人と、母語のまま、一対一で話す。台本はなく、同時字幕があなたの言葉を相手の言語へ運ぶ。沈黙も、そのまま。ここでの対話は披露ではなく、相手に、そして傍聴する人たちに、ちゃんと聴かれている対話です。
THE AUDIENCE 傍聴者
No need to speak. You are not a party to the conversation — but you are not a stranger to it either. You simply listen. Sooner or later, you meet a conversation you cannot forget.
発言は要らない。あなたは当事者ではない、けれど無関係でもない。二人の対話に立ち会い、世界がまだ聴いたことのない会話に耳をすませる。やがて、忘れられない対話に出会う。

THE THEME 大テーマ
Each event opens under one big theme, like “Japan & Kimono.” It's what brings people in.
開催ごとに、ひとつの大テーマを掲げます（例：日本と着物）。人が集まる入口です。
THE TOPICS 小テーマ
Within it, two people talk through a smaller topic, one session at a time.
その中で、対話者の二人が小テーマを選び、セッションごとに話します。
EVENT DAYS 開く日
BŌCHŌ is not always open. It opens only on event days, each built around one theme.
常設ではありません。テーマを掲げたイベントの日だけ開きます（イベントオープン型）。
